But I'm a philosopher. Until it is expressly stated, I can assume any
logical possibility I like. Or, I might go with Russell, who, while
traveling through Scotland was asked by his companion, in the middle of
a debate over induction, what he could say about cows in Scotland, on
passing by a herd of coo-beasties. He replied, "Cows in Scotland can be
black." A period passed and then he continued, "on one side".
