does this interest anybody ?
i don't know anything about the following quote other than i believe it is
from a BBC Televison programme called Horizon (regarding time-travel),
"Another broken taboo* concerns sending messages faster than light. Breaking
the light speed barrier is totally forbidden by Einstein, and all who
believe in him, for moving beyond it would make time stand still. But that
has not stopped a German Time Lord, physicist Gunter Nimtz, transmitting
Mozart's 40th Symphony across his lab at 4.7 times the speed of light.
Impossible, yes, but demonstrated on screen in HORIZON."
*regarding the theoretical impossibiltiy of time-travel, that is.
FTL and lots of other stuff seems to be possible...
also, i remember a program regarding the early pico-, or maybe,
femto-seconds of the universe.
it is said by some physicists that light speed can't be absolute, otherwise
the big-bang theory just hold, ie, the theoretical structure of the universe
as we know it could not be otherwise.
