[Hammond]
Coopman was kind enough to confirm my result independently,
so I know the equation is correct.

[Hammond]
Look... you're shoveling *** against the tide.... Thurstone's Box
Problem is a famous historically established scientific truth known
to tens of thousands of Factor Analystis and scientists today.
It is classic testbook material.
Secondly, Psychometry uses (universally) "Z-scored" variables
with zero mean and unit variance, so Var(X)=Var(Y)=Var(Z)
IDENTICALLY. the Variances are ALWAYS the same in
Psychometry.
FURTHERMORE the human brain does not operate on simple
equations like (x+y) or (xyz) etc. So none of the correlations in
Psychometry are "zero because of simple algebra considerations".
Thurstone was a genius, and invented the "Box Problem" because
he INTUITIVELY divined that ultimately the so called "Structural
Model of Personality" would turn out to be a "Box", and history
has proven him right (Hammond 1994).

[Hammond]
I just told you the equation "xyz" has nothing to do with the human
brain. It is a symmetry in a simple "Box Problem", but there are
other more complex geometric/neuropsychological reason producing
the "Box" in Psychometry.... namely that the brain is composed of 8
octant lobes, and this is why Personality shows up in Psychometry
space as a "cube".
Basically, you're only an unsopisticated pop mouth amateur and the
entire analysis is beyond your scientific means.
> Again: the illustration in Thurstones book is meant for the

[Hammond]
Neither Thrustone who wrote the book, not I who has
discovered the Structural Model has any interest in the
pop mouth opinions of a scientific amateur.
> You cannot say that this
> picture is some cosmic relationship.
[Hammond]
I'm sure it looks "cosmic" to you... it doesn't to either
Thurstone or me.
The fact that the "Structural Model of Personality" DOES in fact
turn out to be identical to "Thurstone's Box Problem" (Hammond 1994)
is a fact that is not going to be lost on more sophisticated scientific
minds
than yours... just because you're to ignorant to appreciate (or more
accurately
to arrogant to admit it) doesn't mean that it isn't obvious to bona fide
scientists. Of course, as far as the proof of SPoG is concerned... it is
neither here nor there.... other than to point out "another" example
of a "cube" appearing in Factor Analysis. The "rest of the story"
will remain privy to the exclusive club of Psychomitrists and Factorists
formed by Thurstone, Me, Cattell and a few dozen others.
