Oh here we go with some amateur who doesn't know what he's talking about
and wants to troll elementary science for us.
   Look.... those fields of cloned Orchids I mentioned... they are all
identical
genetically. In the wild they will come up all different sizes, but if you
grow
a thousand generations of them in perfectly ideal hothouse conditions they
all eventually reach the same height... a height rarely if ever attained in
the wild. This we may presume is the "genotypic size" (i.e. full growth
size) of the Orchids. Therefore, pickinga specimen at random form the wild
(same genetics)... we can esily measure the "growth deficit" of the wild
plant. Now you can't tell me this isn't obvious, and believe me scientists
in this area are agreed. Just like they are universally agreed that the
"Secular Trend in Human Growth" (which is well documented) IS in
fact principally due to the increase in world nutrition (i.e. the increase
in the world standard of living).

You're making unsupporterd assertions, indulging in aggrvated
ad hominem remarks. Furthermore I'd be willing to bet
dollars to donuts you have little or no academic credentials
and would immediately fly off the handle if anyone asked you
to produce them. But above all else... your rudeness betrays
your incompetence.
