"We find no simple relation between the time scales of flux density
changes and apparent component velocities."
That means "We've no idea what it is we are looking at, we are
determined to use red shift solely as a velocity indicator, we'll only
use Einstein's equations" and
Sue is running around gathering already reduced data. ONLY raw data is
acceptable.
In the FAR field, redshift is a function of distance, not velocity.
