The "Universe as we know it", BY DEFINITION,
could not exist before we existed.

If that is over your head, I sincerely recommend you
find out why... since 20 billion people have been discussing
the matter for 3,500 years. And the thought of 20 billion
people talking about you behind your back, I should think,
would be a bit disconcerting. On the other hand, you can
always pacify yourself with the (erroneous) belief that
"what you don't know won't hurt you".
