It won't matter, Harry. The point is that measurements do not need to
be
made with light. Nor do they need e-synching. If you insist on
e-synching,
you'll get one answer all the time -- regardless of what the rest of
the
universe is actually doing.
Hi again I'm visiting family and just now I wrote on a *** of paper
an additonal paragraph with "slow" clock transport, as that was the
remaining thing to adapt to your thinking - I think!
Thus if you like, I can type in the following thought experiment using
real numbers (a Xmas present special for you!):
- a system with an object, stationary in the ether
- a moving system with slow running clocks and a shortened ruler, and
two clocks that are synchronized by slow clock transport;
- a comparison of lengths by direct local comparison of the marks -
thus without use of time delays with any signals such as light.
Thus:
* No explicit PoR (except for clock slowdown and length contraction of
course)
* No light use
Any other wish? ;-)
Cheers,
Harald
