Why in the world do you believe such a radical, discredited model, when
SR, GR, and QM explain everything except the stuff which ST explains?

Or to say it another way,

It's like Benjamin Franklin describing electricity as a "mysterious
fluid". That's great for 1790, but now we know about electrons and
waves and QED and stuff; which explains it in exquisite detail,
complete with predictions which have been confirmed.

Or to say it another way,

How come Maxwell's silver hammer hasn't come down on your head, when it
has on everybody else's?
