Sorry to disturb you, but you're the only one in the newsgroup who I'm
100% sure knows what he's talking about (modulo quantum uncertainy).

My questions, is: can I trust what David A. Smith says, or is he a
crank? He's helped me IMMENSELY, more than anyone else in fact. But I
don't know if (some of) the other stuff he says is awfully strange
becuse SR is strange, because David A. Smith is, or because sometimes
he's just fucking with me and I can't detect when people are joking.

Thank you,

"Dave Bowman" (from 2001)

PS
At risk of risk of suggesting that you bad-mouth your professional
colleagues, I'm also pretty sure everything PMB, Bill Hobba, and Bilge
says is true too. Is that cool or not? If I could establish the
credibility of you five, I can infer the others from your responses to
them.

For instance, if I know Bilge is okay, then I know that Tom Roberts is,
too -- which implies that Nick is a crank and I can ignore what he said
in the event horizon discussion (which is what I'm currently trying to
figure out).

I'm sorry to even have to ask this, but the contradictory answers to
questions that really are very important to me is very confusing, and
I'm out of other ideas.
