No!
O come on George, use your intellect, you know better! This is
backwards.
In terms of General Realtivity, the smaller the observer (and area of
observation) the more local it is and the less curvature is detected.
What do you think that picture on the cover of MTW paperback edition
means? The curved lines on the apple from "up" or "on high" look curved,
but when looking "down" and "close" they appear flat, which is the image
in the magnifying glass.
The shorter you are the less curvature you see. If you were 90,000 feet
tall, you could actually see the curvature of the horizon, etc.

This is the "underdeveloped" man's argument, the "Earth is flat" is for
dummies. Only the fully grown "enlightened" man can tell the Earth is
not flat. This should be blatently obvious from God = Guv and is
embarrassing that you, of all people, have gotten it wrong this time.

No, no, no! The halo is an artifact of smaller men looking up to taller,
more developed men, thinking them diefied. The mother approaching her
infant instinctively uses her own shadow to cover the childs eyes, and
the child grows up seeing halos around the full grown. That is the
origin of the halo. The underdeveloped's desire to become more developed
drives the fascination with the halo, the need and biological goal to
grow up.
Have you ignored the importance of UP out of the four? Up is heaven, up
is salvation. "I will look up for my salvation", "I will look unto the
mountains for my strength", the use of "Higher Power" as euphemism for
diety, Christ being "up" on the cross, "up" on Calvary, Sermon on the
Mount, etc.

Really, George, you'd think you of all people wouldn't get the meaning
of "flat Earth" so reversed. What will the God=Guv scholars 1000 years
from now think, when they see their beloved enlightened founder actually
published such a antipodal post? You really need to be more careful!
Your credibility is at stake, the legacy of your discovery. How will
future generations remember you? Study this, seriously, and post a
correction as soon as possible.
