TAST theory uses the Lorentz transform for everything. At eq. 1-26 he
derives the redshift 2e-6 around the sun which is the correct value
for gravitational redshift. But he wrongly uses the low-orbit velocity
(instead of the escape velocity), together with the square of the
Lorentz (1=v2/c2), instead of the square root.
Of course Vorb^2 = MG/r and Vesc^2 = 2MG/r, which is the virial
theorem. He should have used Vesc for the gravitational redshift (as
on my website), but got the doubled effect using Vorb by squaring
sqr(1-v2/c2).
In addition he volunteers the information that the redshift is
affected by density, when it's mass only.
In the bending of starlight he gets the total answer without even
integrating along the path of the ray. He vaguely credits not only
sun's gravitation but also an undefined influence of the sun star
system.
His enthusiasm is outrunning his virtuosity.
