   Could it be possible to hypothesize the early earth as having close to
one rotation per revolution, allowing the first days of Genesis to equal as
many thousands, millions or even billions periods of revolution(years)?
This would be during the Pangea period when all the continents were one. It
would leave part of the earth, being land (the bible calling it earth),
facing the sun(void and empty) and the ocean facing the other side(darkness
was upon the face of the deep).Then, very slowly,as the earth rotated, the
Spirit of God (light)moved upon the face of the waters,and God said let
there be light.
   Then, we must allow the light from the sun to hit the ocean for a very
long period of time allowing for an extremly high concentration of
evaporation causing an atmosphere to form; The first day(one full rotation
of the earth).
After a long period of time, due to different atmospheric temperatures and
pressures, extreme high winds would transfer the saturated atmosphere to the
other side of the earth where it would condense and collect into seas on the
ground. Could this period be the cause for the tectonic plates to separate?
   The seperation and the movement of the tectonic plates could have caused
the rotation to slowly increase and eventually (when???) the earth rotated
at an even greater speed than that which is found today.
   Along with the sun and the watered ground, vegetation began to form.The
first lifeforms could have started when the spirit of God moved on the face
of the waters. This statement must have something to do with life, as
baptism, the reception of a new life, is believed, by some christians, to be
an image of this.

Couldn't the scriptures have different depths in it's meaning? I fully agree
with you that this statement
must mean something very spiritual in essence.Could it be the second
creation story starts here as well?Could it also be the creation of Adam? If
we notice that in the second story of creation it writes:" ...no shrub of
the field had yet appeared on the earth,and no plant of the field had yet
sprung up: the Lord had not yet sent rain on the earth...and the Lord formed
man from the dust of the ground." This statement does not speak of the sixth
day but could very well be the first day. I personally believe in a two
humanity theory, where Adam and his descendants were called "sons and
daughters of God" the second humanity coming from a form of controled
evolution, it's informational code found within the DNA,called sons and
daugthers of men.I would guess this humanity surface sometime in the sixth
day.
