Here, I adopt Dr. Hansik Yoon's argument shown in his book, but in
paraphrase form. Dr. Yoon, the author of the book titled "Natural
Science Founded on A New Atomic Model", discussed and pointed out the
flaw in today's atomic physics including E=Mc^2. You can read some part
of the above book, but you cannot read the portion discussed here from
the website, http://www.yoonsatom.net
Anyway, we can trace the origin of E=mc^2 from m = mo(1 -
v^2/c^2)^-1/2. If you expand the latter equation as a poly-nominal
series and eliminate other terms after third term, you'll get (m -
mo)c^2 = 1/2 mov^2 or Δmc^2 = 1/2 mov^2 = Ek (kinetic energy).
And the result gives E= Mc^2 where, Δm = (m - mo) = M.
However, the real problem with E=Mc^2 is that this equation does not
suggest any information concerning the nuclear activities producing the
nuclear energy in the atomic nuclear structures. This equation is
nothing but the half of the kinetic energy of mass moving at the speed
of light.
However, atomic physics today ascribes the energy emission of nuclear
fission to the equation of E=mc^2. It is also present knowledge that in
the case of nuclear fission there occurs a mass gain, while in the case
of nuclear fusion there occurs a mass loss. If this mass quantity
gained or lost converts into energy as the special relativity theory
speaks, the reaction of nuclear fission must be endothermic, while the
reaction of nuclear fusion must be exothermic. But, as one knows, these
two opposite nuclear reactions are now treated as the same exothermic
reactions. The energy emission from both nuclear fission and nuclear
fusion was explained with E=Mc^2 alone. Isn't it funny?
On the other hand, in the case of the Yoon's Universal Atomic Model,
the orbital electron ring emits energy when it expands its orbital
radius.
Dr. Yoon also asserts that the light and energy which are intrinsically
continuous entities cannot be satisfactorily described by photons and
quanta which are discontinuous entities. And the dualism of
wave-particle has big flaw in it. You can read his argument in part
regarding this subject from the Preface of the book posted at
