Was the Morley Michelson experiment testing for an Ether wind ever disproved ,reaffirmed or reexamined ?
This is the Michelson and Morley experiment. It has been repeated many times, with modern experiments using different techniques having thousands of times more sensitivity. No _reproducible_ "ether wind" has ever been observed. See the FAQ for references.
I am just having a problem figuring out how light can travel without a medium.
That is indeed counterintuitive. Unfortunately you won't find a fully satisfactory answer until you have enough physics background to study quantum electrodynamics. But in a nutshell, the wave aspects of light are related to the wave nature of probability amplitudes in quantum mechanics; probability needs no "medium".
