Help locating SRT experiement articles

Hello,

I was once told of an SRT experiment that had some interesting results.
Apparently, while the actual results of the expeirment aligned with SRT's
predictions (e.g., time dilation or length contraction), the actual results
did not completely align with the predicted expected results based on the
SRT equations. I was left with the impression that the difference between
the actual and expected results was not due to the accuracy of the
experiement.

Does anyone know of the experiment this could be referring to? Are there
other experiments that returned similar interesting results?
