No, the ``modernist crowd,'' just like real scientists of all ages,
determines the reality from real experiments and real experiments
conclude that simultaneity is relative. Here are 3 references that
you won't read (n.b. unlike you, I manage to find references
which are readily available to anyone who wants to read them):

Phys. Rev. A 63, 022111
http://www.gapoptic.unige.ch/Publications/Pdf/relavc.pdf

Physical Review. A, volume 67, 042115
http://www.gapoptic.unige.ch/Publications/Pdf/PRA42115.pdf

Physical Review Letters volume 88, number 12
http://www.gapoptic.unige.ch/Publications/Pdf/Suarez.pdf

Don't forget to write these off when you're through not reading them,
using the excuse that the experimenters are not ``original thinkers.''

The references above are experimental articles which disagree with you.
I suppose you have a thought experiment that disagrees with the real
experiments?
