imaginary numbers exist because of negative numbers. Why is there the
false dilemma of only positive and negative numbers? Why not a third
designation besides "positive" and "negative"? Why negative numbers at
all? These are all "constructs" of modelling I suppose that can create
it's own mystery out of connotations that are really quite normal in
reality.
