Translation - the earth and the moon both have different origins for the
coordinate systems that are usually used - namely the earth and the moon -
however nothing prevents them using exactly the same coordinate system or
any other coordinate system for that matter. When we say measured on the
moon we naturally mean a coordinate system attached to the moon - when we
say on the earth - we naturally mean a coordinate system on the earth. Such
is hardly a great scientific insight. But considering the tortured logic
of your posts simply coming to grips with something so obvious may be about
all you can cope with.
