But the twist is not cause [solely] by a static magnetic field.
The twist is not caused [solely] by a static electric field. It is cause by
interaction with bonds in the transparent solid.

Chiral molecules [non symetric molecules] can rotate the plane of polarized
lights. Polymer molecules are often chiral. Stress on a polymer could
change the degree of chirality.

That is a good guess. I am sure that some of my computer power supplies
have 'tantalum' capacitors.

In the land of the sun, the sun never sets. We will have to wait a long
time before nightfall if we want to land on the Sun.

There was such a trophie.

There was a Tea Tree in the yard. Does that count?

Remember this is a coffee pot, not a tea pot, but it did cause quite a
tempest.

If the car is in tow, it is a Cat-a-pull-it.

It was a test of the 'always lands on feet' vs 'butter side down' theories.
The entanglement of the properties resulted in a pot that always planted
itself the same way.

Of course, Maxwell got arrested for possession.
