Of couse it depends on what you mean by a hole. There is a seething
foam of virtual particles and vacuum energy on the quantum level. I
suppose you can define a hole as an area, or volume, of space where
there is no vacuum energy or virtual particles. Now whether this is
possible is another matter. I need to read up on virtual particles
and vacuum energy.
