To Daniel,

But you don't need a high IQ to have an open mind. Most people suffer more
from their inhibitions than from a low IQ. Also, most of us only use part
of our brain, part of the time.
That is to say, we tend to be lazy and prefer to have the experts, religious
and political leaders et al, do our thinking for us.

If you exercise your body, you will build up your muscles and vital
capacity.
Similarly, if you exercise your brain you will not only build new brain
cells and connections, but you will gain new problem solving skills as well.

Alternatively, if you don't use your muscles or brain, you will lose them!
If you really want to commit partial suicide, become a beer drinking,
snacking, couch potato. One good thing about that is, that you won't live
very long, since living will become a bore.

I will always remember the story of the farm boy who became crippled after a
bout with polio.
His doctor told him that he would never walk again. But he was stubborn and
would stumble along for miles a day, by hanging on to the plough, as he
worked his father's fields.
He not only regained his ability to walk but became a champion runner!

So it isn't as important how many talents you start out with, but what you
do with them, that matters!

Enjoy, Len.
