You did not address the point. An "alternate explanation" does not
replace an existing theory unless there is a testable point where the
two diverge in their predictions, or unless it can be shown that there
is a logical flaw in the existing theory that does not exist in the
alternate explanation (and the alternate explanation is given enough
mathematical structure to show that its *quantitative* predictions are
identical the current theory). You have done neither. If you contest
that, you should document your basis for it. An empty claim is
dismissable out of hand.

of the planet with the velocity's reasonable properness. That means, in

And which you haven't answered, Tom. In fact, you haven't answered a

the planet. I gather you cannot, or you would have done so.

You claim your model predicts everything that the current model does,
but you do not (or you have not demonstrated that you) know the

I claim that it is NOT moving faster. Prove that assertion wrong.

If you want me to provide a simple example that shows it is not moving
faster, we'll take the case of a spaceship that leaves Earth with a
relative velocity of 31,000 mph in the direction tangent to the Earth's
orbit and in the same sense as the Earth is orbiting. Since the Earth
is orbiting at 67,000 mph, on the outgoing leg it is indeed traveling
faster than the Earth (with respect to the radial line from the Sun to
Neptune), going at 98,000 mph. However, on the spaceship's return to
Earth at the same relative velocity of 31,000 mph, it is now traveling
at 36,000 mph with respect to the same reference point, which is
*slower* than the Earth is going.

I've just provided a case which replicates the Twin Paradox, with a
spaceship leaving the Earth and returning to Earth with the same
relative velocity, (and so the spaceship twin will definitely return
younger) but the the ship having a velocity for one of the legs being
*slower* than the Earth's.

Why on earth would I want to do that? I want you to show that in a case
where the time dilation effect is NOT minimized, you have some
