| Hard to say. I'd have to study the data from Algol and
| Delta Cephei. The prevailing view, which is highly corrupt
| according to Androcles (Einstein was a very successful
| huckster, apparently, backed up by quite a number of

WHOA! Don't Michelson in as a supporter of Einstein.
Michelson kill-filed Einstein.
Morley was a chemist along for the ride, he didn't care either.

and others among
| them), is that Algol is about 92 light years away and
| Delta Cephei is a star which plays "balloon..collapse..
| balloon..collapse" with a period of about 5 1/2 days, with
| a number of characteristics including temperature/general
| luminosity shifts.

Don't forget:
Algol is an eclipsing binary,
"But the two stars of Algol have different mass, radius and
density, and the B8 is well outside of the Roche limit
of the K2, while the K2 is just at the Roche limit of the B8.
That is, the K2 fills its Roche lobe completely, and mass
is transferred to the B8. So the K2 IS torn apart and there
is an accretion disk around the B8 akin to the rings of Saturn.
(This accretion disk is not stable, though. It is a transient
disk; the mass transferred from the K2 bounces off the surface
of the B8 and eventually falls back to the surface.) "

Being a B8, the "surface" that the unstable accretion disk bounces off
looks like this:

only a little stronger.
I do like that, definitely a keeper.

Better yet, the K2 is a Wilson Cool Heavy, floating in fairy dust.
ROFLMAO!

Androcles.
