I think the "why" question is "Why is the universe relativistic instead
of say...Newtonian? That is the "Why?" I do not believe anyone has the
answer to. If Henri wanted the answer you just gave, he could have
learned it for himself by now.
However, if you ask "Why?" and mean "Why does our current theoretical
knowledge say <whatever>", I fully expect an answer.
