A little challenge for relativists.

The idea that the speed of light was unaffected by the speed of the
source came from belief in the ether

Not so in relativity, in which ether is absent and unnecessary.

The Principle of Relativity leads to an invariant speed c. It
follows immediately that if the speed of light is c then it is
independent of the speed of the source.

Your avoidance of the question is noted.
