This is a post aimed at anyone who thinks Einstein's SR was wrong.
SR is based on two postulates:
i) The speed of light is constant for all observers.
ii) The laws of physics will be valid for all observers.
Not only valid...identical. I'm assuming that what is meant here
include such things as space permittivity, local measurements of
the Casimir effect, the heat generated by a 100 ohm resistor
with 1 V across it (which would happen to be 10 mW), etc.
(For the pedantic among, this is a précis of
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_relativity.)
So, if you think Einstein/SR is wrong, please indicate by choosing one
of the following options:
a) The problem lies in the first postulate (speed of light).
b) The problem lies in the second postulate (consistency of physics)
c) I agree with the postulates, but I think that the analysis
and conclusions are wrong.
d) Some other reason / don't know, it's just plain wrong
Mark your answers a,b,c or d. I'm not interested in colleting theories
at this point, just your vote (you will be snipped!)
I'll create a summary at the close of the thread.
Good luck. :-)
