This is a post aimed at anyone who thinks Einstein's SR was wrong.

I guess you were hoping that those who thing SR is wrong
would answer your, perfectly reasonable, questions and
that this would lead to an intelligent discussion in which
you could point out where they had gone wrong.

Something like that. I wasn't so much interested in starting any great
crusade, I was just interested in the composition of the dissenting
camp.

As you see from the replies, the crackpots on this group
are completely incapable of any kind of logical approach,
especially if the perceive that it might be the start of a
logical argument which they will lose.

I have asked several of the crackpots how they would
approach a very simple question of basic experimental
physics, such as measuring the speed of a train.

To date, I have got nothing but abuse from the. One
can only speculate as to why this is.

I agree on issue of abuse, as apposed to a bit of satire or cajolery.

I do find, however, that abuse is equally common in the mainstream as
it is on fringe.

Some people get very upset the minute they think you are disagreeing
with them, (in both the mainstream and fringe camps), which I think
says more about their insecurities than their theories!
