have bad news for you: rotation is self-referential and absolute.

Hey stupid adroclone, consider an aobserver on a uniformly rotating top
with a srping-mass system attached to its central axis. The observer
sees everything stationary but there is tension on the spring. This
tells him he is rotating without reference to another body in motion.
