Re: SR is built on false assumptions....continued

Well, this is just great! No wonder you claim that your *new idea* has never been *overthrown*. You cut and run whenever it's clear that it has been.

Let's see.........

1) You've got no data to support you idea
2) You've got no logical argument to support your idea
3) You've got no way to quantify your idea

So what is there to overthrow? I can claim that I have an idea that Earth's moon used to be Saturn's, and by your standard, you can't overthrow that idea either. I've given you no data for you to question, I've given you no logical argument for that idea, and I've given you no way to quantify that idea.

And if you claim that you've got data to the contrary, I can tell you that it doesn't matter to me, or that you haven't posted it, or that I'm not gonna go to any sites which explain the data, or that the data you've got might be tainted by the government, or any number of other excuses to stick my head in the sand and refuse to look at the data you've got.

My whole approach to any attempt to overthrow my idea is gonna be to insult you, to accuse you of taking sides <snicker>, and finally, if all else fails and I can't bait you with that nonsense, I'll just end the discussion when it becomes pretty clear that you've got me cornered.

Sound familiar? Well that's you, nincompoop. That's your entire approach to discussing your *new idea*, and that's why you think it's never been overthrown. It has, but you can't hear it while you block your ears and yell.

Taking sides? LOL!

This guy was perfectly willing to engage you in a discussion of your ideas, and all you had to do was to stay away from muckraking and stick to the substance of the issue, but you just couldn't do it. What a knucklehead.
