OK. I think I can condense your argument down to this:

You don't believe that it is possible to define t' (tau) in a way that satisfies:

1/2(t'(0,20)) = t'(32,16)

Yours is an assertion easily disproved by example.

If we define
t'(x,t) = -3x/16 + t

then
t'(0,20) = 20
t'(32,16) = 10

and the equation is satisfied.

(Note, I didn't check your numbers, nor did I try to give the SR equation. I simply provided an example to show that your
objection is without merit.)
