If GR contains no naked singularities, then presumably we are excluding
observers on the inside of black hole horizons. Since I thought the
canon was that there was "perfectly good physics" in there, I wonder on
what basis we would do this...
As I understand it, for an observer inside a BH, the singularity
resides in his "future".
All future pointing trajectories point towards the singularity
So he can't "observe" it - until he arrives there that is.
For a naked singularity, there are future pointing trajectories that
point away from the singularity, so it can, in principle be observed.
( The Big Bang singularity might be one example..... but... )
