Basically Barry, you are a dishonest twit trying to play scientist..
To wit:
.But middle-aged, middle-class, comfortable men don't apologize to
working class kids - it makes them uncomfortable.
In another thread you wrote:.

Apparently, you must be a working class kid who is already retired
for 8 years. Unfortunately, you have neither the drive of a working
class
kid nor the potential wisdom of a retiree. Even an idiot could have
understood the explanations you have recieved to your trolls.
Firstly, it shouldn't matter who writes a post. All that should matter
is the content.
Secondly, I didn't say that I was a working class kid, I said

If it gives you comfort, you are welcome to continue to believe that
reading New Scientist articles and cherry-picking lines from popular
science books has given you some deep new insight into physics.
Perhaps
someday you will get interesed enough to begin the hard work of
actually
learning some physics.

That was a very strange comment, since *I* had already proved to *him*
that naked singularities had been predicted and *I* had already proved
to *him* that Penrose had concocted his conjecture for the ad hoc
purpose of forbidding them.
Rather than admit that he had been wrong - on *both* counts - he chose
to criticize my sources - a team of physicists in the one case and
Penrose in the other.
He hadn't even considered that I might already have studied physics.
I suppose that if I had studied physics under him he would have
preferred that I would have been ignorant on both counts. Perhaps that
would have made him happy. But when he tries that kind of bull*** with
me he won't get away with it - in class or out.
As for looking at my model, the very thought terrifies him. If he can't
get right the physics that he has studied...
