Occums razor

Is there any online sources that talks of comparing realtivity to lorenz
contractions and also string theory? Seems like 'space-time curvature'
should be chucked away. Or is it just because its a useful mathematical
model / learning feature, of are they trying to say thats what we should
think physically exists?
