Is there any online sources that talks of comparing realtivity to lorenz
contractions and also string theory? Seems like 'space-time curvature'
should be chucked away. Or is it just because its a useful mathematical
model / learning feature, of are they trying to say thats what we should
think physically exists?
You're comparing apples to oranges when talking of relativity to string
theory.
Hmmmmm. I was under the impression string thories were relativtically
invarient.
And be warned, what we consider "sensible" is a poor metric for judging
the Universe.
Very true.
Why do you have an issue with curvature?
I suspect he/she doesn't understand it.
Thanks

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to
persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
