Funny, funny, funny. You affirm what Blake said nearly 200 years ago -
"I turn my eyes to the Schools and Universities of Europe,
And there behold the Loom of Locke, whose Woof rages dire,
Wash'd by the Water-wheels of Newton: black the cloth
In heavy wreaths folds over every Nation: cruel Works
Of many Wheels I view, wheel without wheel, with cogs tyrannic,
Moving by compulsion each other; not as those in Eden, which,
Wheel within wheel, in freedom revolve, in harmony and peace."
William Blake
All bound together by consensus where the efforts to appear individual
only affirm that one is no better or worse than the next. You will die
comfortably without having really lived.

THE VOICE OF RELIGION.
leftdepictingI bought a striking 500(?) year old painting of the Holy Family
rightHoly Mary with the Christ child standing on her right knee. From the
top corner, Joseph is looking down while holding a book. From the
Jesus.lower corner, the child Saint John the Baptist, is looking up at
thatI already owned a gilded, framed icon showing the same scene, except
theJoseph looks down from the top left and John the Baptist looks up from
iconbottom right corner. The difference between the two is that, in the
givenMary looks like a loving mother holding her son. Whereas in the older
larger painting, Mary looks adoringly at the Son of God, who she has
rendition.birth to. The former is a human, whereas the latter a religious
thatI prefer the human icon to the religious painting in that it is real,
whereas the latter preaches the Christian myth. For humans to assert
Mankindone of their women gave birth to the Son of God is presumptuous.
did not create God, God created mankind.
isAny person, who claims to know what is on God's mind, is like a dog
saying/knowing what is on the mind of the human who bred him. A dog
not
ownhuman, no matter what its loving owner may think. This is why humans

its puppies is human.
priestsThis is also why most religions tend to be dangerous because their
do asclaim to be spokesmen for God. This means that their followers should

committedThroughout history, more atrocities have been (and still are)
inwhat
the name of religion than for any other reason. Because no matter
onepreaches
may say to a religious fanatic, he knows he is right, since he
God'
musts will. Consequently, anyone who disagrees with him is a heretic, who
be saved from, or punished for, his evil ways.
notIn other words, the most destructive force in the history of man is
the
iconoclastic scepticism of atheists, but the self-righteous voice of
religion.

Be sure now to check that the basic correlation between the Earth's
rotation and clocks is correct before you set out the empirical agenda
on planetary motion and the celestial structure and certainly make
sure you do not try to justify the motions of the Earth by using the
return of a star to a meridian in 23 hours 56 minutes 04 seconds.
Faith is that intutive intelligence common to all genuine and good
people, that gentle belief of Love at the heart and magnificense of all
things and especially Christianity. You poor creature never make the
distinction between the failings of denominational Christianity and
the core of what that faith represents.
What a marvelous feeling Easter brings to all Christians where
rejection, humiliation and all those things which human nature abhors
was turned to a life affirming act by Jesus .The individual facets of
God where the sum of the facets cannot be proposed as God but love
lights up all things and especially human love to recognise that even
in the worse conditions, nay, especially in the worse conditions that
God is found.- Hide quoted text -

Good to see a well chose Islamic response and thank you very much.
Pascal exists at that juncture in history when the anti-intutive
empirical cult emerged, the agenda that imagines that it can stumble
its way to conclusions.Pascal's expression of the balance between the
intutive mind and the mathematical mind now highlights what went wrong
all those centuries ago with Newton/Flamsteed even though the passage
ws written before the acts of empirical vandalism on astronomy
occured -

I am an astronomer and rely on the intutive faculty to affirm
celestial structure and motion based on physical considerations.I have
witnessed my astronomical discipline stripped of the intutive faculty
and replaced by an experimental approach,a disasterous maneuver that
has temporarily destroyed the human ability to reason from the
multitude of associative factors involved in astronomy and
specifically how observed motions are distinquished from apparent
motions.
As a Christian.I thank you.
