Although Bohr's atom is null and void, do electrons occupie shell
AREAS (cloud areas) inside the atom?
Sorta. They're distributions.
Does an electron still shed or absorb photons inside an atom...if so
then does it change quantum shell numbers??
Yes.
Ok so the "SHELL" wording still exist but instead it's more of a
cloudish location then a precise orbital.
An orbital IS a cloud. An orbital is not what you apparently think it
means -- it is not a circle of fixed radius.
