The Lorentz factor, gamma = 1/sqrt(1 - v^2/c^2)
is actually the inverse of the ratio between
the real speed of light c_r with respect to the
standard value c_s = 299,792,458 m/s. Let's see
what c_r/c_s is:

1/sqrt(1 - v^2/c^2) = c/sqrt(c^2 - v^2)

if we replace c by c_s, it yields

gamma = c_s/sqrt(c_s^2 - v^2),

where sqrt(c_s^2 - v^2) = c_r, is the real value of
speed of light in a vacuum, when the inertial source
moves at speed v. That is

gamma = c_s/c_r, and

v^2 + c_r^2 = c_s^2

This means that there is no such thing as relativistic mass.
The relativistic kinetic energy for a particle with mass m
is

E_k = (gamma - 1)*m*c_r^2, that's
E_k = (c_s/c_r - 1)*m*c_r^2,
E_k = (c_s*c_r - c_r^2)*m,

This implies that if v=c_s, then c_r=0, thus E_k=0. A mass m
travelling at c_s has zero kinetic energy. All that mass
was transformed into electromagnetic radiation. There is
NOT such thing as infinite mass at v=c_s.

All that *** called time dilation and length contraction is
just the artifact invented to preserve the "sacred" invariance
of c_r.
