I am not your father confessor.

I sure hope not. I never asked you to be.

You don't need to tell me anything. I have a lousy
shoulder for crying on, as I keep trying to fix things.
We can't fix each other, but I can't tell my heart this.

I'm not looking for a shoulder to cry on. I never have
and I never will. Only I can solve my problems. I
was going to give you information so you've have an
accurate answer to your question and perhaps
understand why I do what I do.

It isn't important for me to know. Your motivation is your only
"free will". I just hate to see someone responding when someone
else is acting like a jerk. It won't change them, it won't
improve your "appearance", and it won't make you stronger.

If you have to be here (for whatever reason), and
you can't take (much of) a certain kind of person,
use your kill file.

Impossible with Retic and hence how this
conversation started.

Actually, no. The claim was that this was an incarnation of
Varney, who usually keeps the same nym for several months. I
actually find him helpful from time to time... but that is me.

It says more for you and your personal growth if you
can not feel compelled to play the game on their terms.

Does any more need to be said? If so, send me an
email. We first spoke by email some years ago,
before your "first" bout with Bilge. You didn't listen to
me then, and I suspect I can still not help you.

I don't recall looking for your help. I believe I was simply
letting you know why I was doing something.

I am not important. Don't make me so. Killfile Varney if you
don't like who you are when dealing with him.

The only problem here was Retic. I don't know how
this took so many turns that I can't even recall how
the conversation went!

Google.groups knows. Retic, aka. Ernest Wittke seldom replies
under his own name anymore. And never stands toe-to-toe.

Just once, I wish someone would tell me something
(true) that I *can* spread around! ;>)

Take care

Aye. You too. Take care of *you*.
