Relativity Question On Frame of Reference 2:

Relativity Question On Frame of Reference 2: Lets say a beam of light
is split. If one side goes into a space ship and the other stays on
Earth could each group think the light near them traveled a shorter
distance then the other? According to the people in the ship both
beams of light go in a straight line but to the people on Earth it
seems that the light in the ship moves at and angle in the direction
of the ship so as to go off at an angle and therefore travels a
greater distance.
