I lost my internet connection during my last post so I posted what I
had. The rest follows.
In his Science article Kirshner said, IaSNe at z = 1 were slightly
brighter than expected but SN 1997ff at z = 1.7 was 1,000% brighter
than expected. This would not be possible if there was a Hubble
constant. They would ALL be an order of magnitude brighter than
expected with the further ones dimmer than the closer ones.
My ideas fell on deaf ears in 2003 and nothing has changed today. I
have seen no further articles so I don't think any more research has
been done. I am predicting that IaSNe at z = 1 have a certain
brightness and faster ones will actually be brighter still untill they
level out and start to get dimmer because of increasing distance. I
will share the prize with the first person to confirm my prediction. I
will also pay $1,000.00 to the first person to prove me wrong!
