The PEAK of the curve from the big bang, red shifted, is
represented by the CMBR.

The low end IS going to be limited by the size of the universe,
whatever that might be. It should be easy for you to calculate,
from the formula of
the curve, how many of those UNIVERSE SIZED photons may be rattling

out there, bouncing off the edge of the universe in a gigantic
standing wave.

Who says they are universe sized .. photons are point particles.

Assuming that there is a universe sized photon is a really bad
misunderstanding of quantum theory.

I don't know how big a photon is. I do know the wavelength and the fact
that to radiate efficiently or detect signals of a certain wavelength
requires a certain minimum size antenna. There is no possible way to
construct an antenna that would detect such photons because it would
need to be a significant fraction of the wavelength. It would need to
be maintained VERY close to absolute zero in temperature, or the
thermal noise would swamp out any possible signals

But 1 Hz and sub-hertz photons have been detected,
despite our lacking an antenna of size 3E8 meters.

1 Hz and sub-hertz variations in the earths electromagnetic field have been
detected.

That does NOT mean that electromagnetic WAVES of those frequencies have
been detected.

Sub hertz variations in the Sun's magnetic field have been detected.
That does NOT mean that electromagnetic WAVES (or photons) of those
frequencies have been detected.

Look at how big the 'near field' area is for those frequencies.
Within the near field area, you are detecting variations in the electric
field or the magnetic field or both, but NOT necessarily electromagnetic
waves (photons).

Show me evidence that sub 1 Hz electro-magnetic waves have been detected.
That means we must be several wavelengths away from the source in order to
assure that we are seeing far field effects. So, we must be (for 1 Hz
waves) several light seconds away from the source.

For lower frequencies, like the periodic alternations of the sun's magnetic
field associated with the 11 year sunspot cycle, we need to be 40 or so
light years away from the source.
