So what? I was institutionalized to.
You cut off the rest of his response, where he listed the reasons as
he saw them:
I saw them. It was not clear to me why he was institutionalized. I see now
that I failed to make my point clearly. Perhaps Hammond was sent to the
looney bin for depression, attempted suicide, a danger to himself, etc.
Being mentally ill doesn't mean your science is wrong. Also, a lot of people
who post things which others believe are wrong often receive insults. And
all too often do people here post their theories. Its one of the worst
aspects of this forum. I don't really know the statistics but I'd hazard to
guess that the mental illness which is diagnosed most often is depression or
bipolar. Neither of which effects ones scientific abilities.
Does anyone really know what George was institutionalized for?
- Hammond *still* behaves insanely,
- Hammond insults anyone that doesn't agree with him, and
- Hammond propounds a theory that only he believes.
I would add the fairly constant spamming of Hammand's personal
killfile, ....
I don't understand this comment. What does it mean to spam a personal kill
file? I believe you're using the term "spam" wrong since spam is defined as
unsolicited, usually commercial, e-mail sent to a large number of e-mail
addresses.
....his complete ignorance of scripture (or at least the ability
to understand what it says), and his periodic advertisements of
personal accolades / acknowledgements he imagined he got.
Is he supposed to know scripture? Remember, I'm not that knowledgeable about
this person.
Do you have to put yourself between your question and any answer you
might receive Pete?
I merely asked a simple question. And what do you mean by 'put myself
between my question and any answere I might recieve?'
We don't need to know what color and frequency
your bowel movements...
I never said you did.
have been at some point in the past, what you
thought of yourself, nor how hard your life has been.
I never said anything about how my life has been. I do my best to keep that
off the web. But I'm sure I forgot or failed to do that at times. Some
friends of mine post here and I may be open with them and forget about who's
reading this. But I don't wish to be thought of as a person who has had a
hard life. I haven't been through anything a million other people haven't so
there's nothing unique about my life. If I wrote a book about my life
problems then it'd be fairly short and even I wouldn't want to read it,
never mind anyone else.
Depression hits.
a lot of people, and some of them manage to pull through. That is a
good thing. None of us are getting out of this life alive. And pain
will figure prominently in our demise (for all but a few). We didn't
design this life, it is the only game in town. Are you here to play,
or something else? Just curious, because it seems like you too have a
choice.
I fail to understand your comments due to me asking a simple question about
a person I don't know. Get down off your pedestal please.
Pete
