lies about me today, I'm curious as to what others have experienced with
him?

Jeeze, Pete, why do you start threads like this? It's totally off topic,
which is against news group rules, and you know it's just got to
degenerate into a series of personal attacks on you, or Shuba, or others,
or you and Shuba, or everybody who responds.

Shuba's a pretty smart dude, as I recall; he knows stuff. However, he can
be difficult at times. He's not a crank, and he doesn't just hang around
the group to insult people; he posts physics. But if he doesn't like a
post he can be a bit nasty, as I recall, and once he decides you're off
base it can be hard to convince him otherwise.

That description could apply to a lot of people in the group, eh?

Is shuba a nice guy and I just misread him? Is he a physics whiz that I
should listen to? Is he incapable of lying as much as what I claim he
has today?

The word "lying" is way, way overused in this newsgroup.

Is it a lie or an error?

Did he misunderstand you and mis-characterize what you said as a result?

Did he misunderstand you and mis-characterize _you_ as a result?

Is it a lie or a simple insult? (The two are not the same thing -- if I
say "you're an imbecile who couldn't possibly have finished third grade"
it may not be true but it's not what normal people in the real world
typically call a "lie", either.)

Is it a lie or an exaggeration? (The two are not the same thing.)

I'm seeking general opinions to determine if I should have
gave him another chance and that I kill filed him too soon. However from
all his hateful lies that he's posting (poor kid, believes whatever
that scumbag varney told him.

Unless Shuba has some weird relationship with Mike Varney that would no
doubt surprise everyone in this NG, you _know_ it's false that he just
"believes whatever ... Varney [tells] him".

Yet you said it anyway.

Was that a lie, Pete?

evil begets evil I guess) I'd have kill
filed him today anyway.

So who has some kind words about shuba that I should know about?

Pete
