Well, it is true that a model is never PROVEN. But that isn't the
point. The question is, which model works best. If you know of a model
that accurately predicts all of the tests that relativity successfully
predicts, then by all means trot it out. Then there will be a simple
shoot-out, and the one that predicts the most the best, wins. That's
science.
