Looking at recent stuff in this newsgroup, I'm wondering: is it worth
asking real, serious questions in this newsgroup? Or is this newsgroup
now a basket-case?


There are still a few physicists lurking here. It is not hard to tell who the
crackpots are, just ignore them.
