Either "school", the pole fits inside the barn... if you
are at rest with the barn.

OK, please answer this (neither Tom , nor Paul have
answered it yet):

Assume the following description of the pole in the barn
paradox:
-The  pole is 50 feet long and a barn is 30 feet.
-What would happen if you closed both barn doors
simultaneously (in the barn frame) after  1 foot of the
pole made it all the way to the other
side of the barn, thru the exit door.
-Assume that the pole is moving at .8c and that the door
closure takes 10^-21 seconds.

Your description of the barn and the pole at the instant of closing is
unclear.

-Will the entry door clip the pole or not? (It is
obvious that the exit door hits the pole but this is
not interesting).

I can take a picture from either door, that shows the pole in the
barn, and no shadow from either / both end(s) of the pole on the
ground.  With enough money, and no photo editing.

Thank you :-)
Paul and I are way past this subject. Maybe next time :-)
