Hi Pete.
Hi Ken! How's it going my friend? :)
I have an Electronics Technician background, ..
Me too! :)
... and Electronic design engineering, and it's
really fun to fix and tune gamma-ray imagers,
ultrasound, transmitters and receivers, etc.
Very cool! I wish I was able to work on that stuff when I was a electronics
technician.
Much of it is tedium, but during that time
the mind wanders into the physics, then bingo
what you did works.
It's like golf, most of the time you wander
about looking for a ball, but when you get
that good shot, it's a wowzer moment.
In the industry, there were fella's that we'd
call "book-smart", they know the theory of
momentum, but wouldn't know which end of a
hammer to use.
Unfortunately that is true.
Pete
