How con we know if the Theory of Relativity is correct if each and
every technology we use to measure time is based upon light and its
properties, how can we distinguish if relativity only affects time or
just light.
Such effects can be noticed for atomic clocks that are transported and
brought back, and in principle no light is needed for such an experiment.
Similarly, it is used in particle accelerators (accelerated electrons and so
on), and no light is used at all in such an experiment -- except for reading
the results!
