Not quite.
"Read the textbook," says the teacher.
"I have," says the student, "and this is my understanding."
"You have not yet understood the reading," says the teacher.
"Why cannot I attribute whatever meaning I want to the reading?" asks
the student.
"Because that would be a bonehead thing to do," says the teacher.
"Demonstrate first that you understood what the writer is telling you,
and then we can talk about whether your other interpretation makes any
sense."

The problem is that these trolls either
1) will never be able to understand and thus will always post nonsense.
or
2) do understand (and agree with) but enjoy trolling.
or
3) don't understand. Don't want to understand. Just like to cause
commotion.

Proper use of your kill file will get rid of 1, 2 and 3 but does nothing to
get rid of posts by those that understand the subject but don't understand
that ANYTIME one feeds a troll, one keeps them trolling.

PDNFTT (please do not feed the trolls)
