Btw, equation 10 in the paper
arXiv:hep-ph/0010120v2 20 Nov 2000
Photons and static gravity
by L.B.Okun
is awfully wrong.

Really? What is wrong with it, old fart?

The fact that you don't understand Okun's paper doesn't mean that
mainstream science is wrong.
So what is the relationship between the speed of light, the light
wavelength and the frequency, bozo? Can you read the recommended
paragraph?

Okun's paper is not mainstream science.
The guy wants to prove that in a static gravitational
field the frequency of the photon is a constant.
As he has to accept that the wavelength varies, he has
to postulate a variable light velocity.
As a result, he gets equation 10, adding
"The closer the photon to the sun, the larger its momentum. Hence its
wavelength is blueshifted".

Anybody, except a moron like you, can calculate
the ratio lambda1(corresponding to r1)/lambda2
(corrsponding to r2) from equation 10.
If you could do this, you would immediately realize
that the equation giving lambda1/lambda2 is wrong.
